Hack Away at the Preconceived Idea of NYC Music
H.A.C.K.

Over the past couple of years I would truly be jealous of anybody having a serious conversation about popular music out of NYC that did not include a healthy amount of talk about Drill music. Not that there is anything inherently wrong about drill music (unless perhaps you are part of the NYPD), however it seems to be the face of NYC music as of late. A city so rich with culture and diversity as New York City should not have its’ music confined to such a small box. Instead, the focus needs to be shifted to those bold enough to break boundaries and excel in new realms of sound that are otherwise unheard of.

Not All Heroes Wear Capes

Luckily today I am happy to announce the release of “Big Foot” by H.A.C.K. The newest music video coming straight out of the greatest city in the world, NYC. This track really makes strides to encompass some of the culture and diversity of the metropolis. This fresh tune emanates an alternative style of hip-hop that leaves listeners in a trance, throwing them off from the sounds of the typical modern day track coming out of New York City.
