High Priest are a relatively straightforward stoner/doom band, but their music is packed with hooks that aren’t often found in the such genres. The result is easily accessible doom – thanks to the stellar vocals, in particular – that nonetheless delivers plenty of depth. Think Baroness mixed with old-school Sabbath.
